In the small town of Leesburg Florida, 350,000 bikers gather for the 13th Annual Leesburg Bikefest.

Event organizers wanted images of all the cool stuff happening at Bikefest to promote future events. But, they also wanted images for their sponsors and advertisers to show how big the crowds were, to show how much exposure they got.

Generally, you want to get the best possible shot of the subject with as little distracting background as possible. But in Leesburg, a large part of my assignment was to keep plenty of 'audience' in each shot.

For example, a sky or solid wall would make a much cleaner background for a 'flying Frisbee dog'. But, the photo was not just about the dog - it was also about the people who came to watch him fly.
